In the remote, tranquil village of Talla Ramgarh, Nainital, a dilapidated and abandoned building was renovated, refurbished and converted into a functioning library.

Our sister organization Giving Hands Foundation (https://givinghandsfoundation.org) worked with local functionaries to construct a library in a dilapidated building overrun by weeds due to decades of negligence. Precious library material was salvaged from an existing library at Shitla Village. Lifting Soulz Foundation provided computers and internet access for the computer centre. Today it is a well-equipped library for local kids.

Efforts are on to procure audiobooks, e-books, and other learning material to enable young minds to access knowledge, cultivate literary skills, and nurture their imagination.

This state-of-the-art library is also benefiting the nearby schools of the area.
